A GRIMAS Szakmai Nap nem csupán szakmai előadások és bemutatók sorozata, hanem gyakorlati tapasztalatszerzésre is lehetőséget biztosító információs fórum. The German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP), the Austrian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ÖGfZP) and the Swiss Society for Non-Destructive Testing (SGZP) jointly invite the NDT community to the DACH Annual Conference 2027

3–5 May 2027 | Salzburg Congress, Salzburg, Austria

Submit your abstract by 31 October 2026

Researchers, industry professionals and practitioners are invited to participate in the conference programme. Presentations and poster contributions are welcome from all areas of non-destructive testing, covering current developments, innovative technologies and practical experience. Whether a scientific study, an industrial solution or a report from practical application, the DACH Annual Conference offers an opportunity to present your work to an expert audience from across the DACH region.

Peer Review Publication

Contributions with a scientific focus can again be submitted to the peer review process. Following successful review, authors have the opportunity to publish their work in the Research and Review Journal of Nondestructive Testing (ReJNDT) in cooperation with NDT.net, providing additional visibility within the international NDT community.

While the event's main language is German, contributions in English are warmly welcome.

Highlights of the DACH Annual Conference 2027

The conference programme will include:

Save the Date for the 4th International Conference

Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) in Nuclear

29 June – 1 July 2027, BratislavaBratislava, Slovakia

The Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP) is pleased to announce the 4th edition of the international conference Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) in Nuclear, to be held at DoubleTree by Hilton Bratislava in Bratislava, Slovakia from 29 June – 1 July, 2027.

NDE in Nuclear 2027

NDE in Nuclear 2027 will build upon the success of the first three editions of this still relatively new series of nuclear NDE conferences, by providing an international conference for NDE professionals from nuclear utilities, inspection vendors, inspection equipment manufacturers, qualification bodies, research laboratories, universities and other nuclear stakeholders to discuss latest advancements in R&D and application of NDE technologies for the commercial nuclear industry.

The conference will be held over two and a half days. Following the opening plenary session there will be three parallel sessions of oral technical presentations, with possible panel discussions in between, and a half day of technical tours to premises of inspection vendor(s) and a technical university nearby. The conference also includes a vendor exhibition throughout the duration of the conference.

Call for Papers and Presentations

SNETP invites all interested organisations to submit technical papers for presentation during the conference. Topical items of interest with a focus on nuclear power plant applications include:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Applications in NDE

NDE for Concrete and Non-Metallic Materials
Personnel & Human Factors including Training & Certification
Regulatory and Code Issues and Harmonization
NDE for Long Term Operation and Aging Management
R&D on Novel NDE Technologies and their Applications

To be considered for inclusion in the conference programme, please send an abstract of the technical presentation/paper to the NDE in Nuclear 2027 Programme Committee at Ez az e-mail cím a spamrobotok elleni védelem alatt áll. The abstract should clearly state the title, authors and their affiliation, and explain the paper's content, objectives, and conclusions.

All abstracts received by 31 January 2027 will be considered. Authors will be informed of their acceptance by 1 March 2027 along with details to register for the conference. Authors must register for the conference no later than 1 May 2027.
