Undoubtedly, non-destructive testing and evaluation (NDT&E) plays a crucial role in our modern society, safeguarding its progress and sustainability. Publication process

In pursuit of this vision, we cordially invite you to submit your scientific work to this dedicated issue of the peer-reviewed Research and Review Journal of Nondestructive Testing (ReJNDT). Your articles should stem from your thesis, whether it's a comprehensive summary, a focused exploration of specific topics, or an update with further analysis. In each case, a substantial portion of your thesis should be closely aligned with the present-day challenges and developments in NDT&E. This encompasses the utilization of diverse testing techniques, the evolution of testing procedures, application-driven results, theoretical advancements, data handling, application for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in NDT, and the exciting landscape of NDT4.0.

Articles submitted for this issue will be published in a (continuous publishing) CP Model. This means that papers are published immediately after finalization and can therefore be viewed and cited quickly.

The peer review process of this issue follows an open peer review approach. This allows a higher participation of different perspectives and a transparent review process. Submitted articles will be published in a forum board via NDT.net. Selected reviewers as well as other experts of the community can comment on the paper and thus ensure the quality of the work.

The paper will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This is a license for unrestricted use of the respective content, obligation to name the authors of the publication.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Eligibility:

• Submissions are welcome from Master or PhD students who graduated or are graduating in the academic years 2022/2023.
• A significant portion of the thesis must be closely related to Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT&E), focusing on major techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current (EC), Acoustic Emission (AE), Thermography, Guided Waves, Computer Tomography (CT), and more.

Required Information:

• Alongside your article submission, you must provide proof of successful graduation from your affiliated university. If your thesis is still under review, include evidence of thesis submission along with the anticipated date of graduation.
• A statement must be included at the end of your article, explicitly citing the corresponding thesis work, including the title, university, and date.

Formatting Guidelines:

• Papers should adhere to the following page limits:
  • 6-8 pages for Master's thesis-based submissions
  • 8-10 pages for PhD thesis-based submissions
• While submitting your article, you are allowed to modify the content and title, as long as the thesis work continues to serve as the foundation for the article.
• Authors are required to use the provided template, available in both MS Word and LaTeX formats, for their submissions. Submitted papers are to be sent in PDF format.
